I'm reading a book called Television, from this month, it's about Hollywood and LA, nothing exactly to do with relationships, but I pulled some quotes I thought might be appreciated:
You take a few attractive girls and give them lots of cocaine and mezcal, and I'm telling you, they won't shut up for anyone, least of all one another. They stop having conversations and they just monolouge fluidly, to one another, sitting cross legged on the floor. Every once in a while they say things like I KNOW IT"S JUST EXACTLY LIKE WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING and then keep talking about whatever they are talking about. Three of them can be on completely different subjects and they won't even notice.
This is the first time I have seen that described so elegantly and hilariously
if you are even a little bit intelligent and good looking and able to respond to cues even slightly, it is the easiest thing in the world to get women. I don't know why men think you have to trick women into sex anyway. As though they are repulsed by the whole idea. This has not been my experience. But I've been a movie star a long time so what do I know.
Funny for a few reasons, but I say that to my friends all the time. The responding to cues part. You have to be able to throw your own cues, but responding to them is a key part. You have to catch the pass that's being thrown, and act on it. I tell one of my friends all the time, if a really attractive women talks to you for more than a few minutes, she's probably interested. Don't overthink it. Just respond to that cue she's giving you.
