Pretty happy with how the lower body session went.
3 x 10 deep back squats did 175,175, 185.
Also for deads I grip & forearm strength is making apparent improvements got up to 185 for 6 reps with a double overhand grip. Just making slow progress, but progress nonetheless.

40 minute punishment run. Alternate 1 minute "jogs" between 5.8 and 6.9 on the treaddy for 36 minutes with 4 minutes total for warm up and cool down. 454 calories.

Makes a huge difference when doing high rep deadlifts to completely reset the bar rather than bounce :whew: shyt is truly brutal.

I'm going to take a break from deadlifts for a couple of weeks (aside from RDLs). Going HAM the last few weeks has really taxed me, and Snap City is not on my list of vacation destinations this summer. :whoa:
my shoulder is enjoying the condo there :mjcry:


i want to work legs later today. may even go for a late night workout. i'm tired from traveling on a bus all yesterday

Decided to start pointing my feet out slightly during pull-ups to further engage the core. Makes the movement harder for sure :whew:
I wanna be able to do L-pull-ups eventually. For now I do them at like a 45 degree angle

man i swear there must be a conspiracy against me trying to deviate from the summer cutting im doing now..and its all related to things going on at work..its damn near made my meal prep for the week obsolete :francis:

this whole week

monday - there was smoothies and ice cream being offered for the company
tuesday - an unexpected casual lunch with the coworkers on my team put together by the client so we can meet the new personal assistant; bertucci's pizza, salad, androlls...a lot of them. this was after i brought my lunch in. i had to have 2 slices of pizza and salad (and exhibit self control) instead of my healthier lunch in the fridge
wed (today) - had a meeting this morning with breakfast being served and there were leftover wraps, salad, and chicken from another meeting in the kitchen. so much leftovers :sadcam: Also the big company refrigerator broke so food had to be thrown away so no bringing in lunch for this week :francis:
thursday - the CEO is taking all employees who had june and july birthdays out to lunch to this fancy ass steakhouse nearby :to:


gotdamn though..this company needs to stop with the damn food all over the place :damn:
