I guess sometimes you gotta scale it back. Because when I went heavy for leg did something to my left hip and the next week not adjusting to that was a huge mistake. It seems mostly happens with any type of quad stuff like squats & lunges. I can still do my postieror stuff like kettle bell swings, hip thrusts and deads so its all good.

Plus it has been feeling better the last two weeks since cutting off squats and lunges. Hopefully I can get get to be doing BW squats, so I can ease myself back into my old routine by Thanksgiving maybe.

Also on another note when I did do strength for deadlifts I was able to do 285 for 3 reps which killed me in a good way. I actually thought I could do at least 1 rep of 295 but my body was like :whoa:

So, after cutting all summer it feels so good to be able to eat carbs in abundance :blessed:

I dropped a lot of fat this summer (198 to 174 but managed to maintain strength)

I stabilized at 180 so im trying to gain about 12 lbs this winter.

Also, I start phat today, pray for me.

my recovery time is not what it used to be..thats the one thing about getting older that im having trouble solving...ive been doing IF and HIIT workouts in training for this 5K next month..i go to sleep sore and i wake up sore smh

You been at it way longer than me but once IF starts impacting performance :camby:
