  • DON'T take too much too frequently...I did three servings yesterday and had lower abdominal cramps like a motherfukker...I decided to switch it up today and I'm doing two servings, (6 am and 12 pm)
  • drink water and more water and after that, drink more water...this shyt will dry you out in a heartbeat...I went through 6.5 liters yesterday and did not feel bloated at all...if you live in a hot climate like me and/or have a physically active job then monitor yourself...your blood pressure goes up while on this shyt...(as with any thermogenic anyway)
  • *You will forget to eat...please remember to do this since your hunger is sent to Bolivia....I only ate about 1,680 cals yesterday and that's only because I had a sweet tooth last night and had a small piece of a coconut tart (200 cals approx.) I got a little over 160 grams of protein to eat...I ate very little carbs and fats..

  • the strength!!! good fukking lord...I did 8 super sets of back squats (225 x 8 below parallel) and dips (bodyweight x 12-15) and was feeling like a god....the sweat was pouring when I went to hit my leg press, leg extension and leg curl circuit but I felt fantastic...by the time I hit arms everything just felt like my body was cranked to 15...its a little scary to be honest which is why I'm dialing it back a bit
  • the weight loss...nuff said...at this pace I'll hit 200 by the end of January.

I am 5'11 and pretty muscular...I used to eat heavy as fukk, but yall know what time it is. I think I'll look bigger at 190-200...maybe even 180s but no lower than that.

I'm scared of all the side effects besides the weight gaining. I'm not afraid of the weight gain it's self. It's a "muscle builder". But I would like the ingredients to your homemade stuff. I took whey protein back in late 2015 and it had my stools hard as rocks, and I got hemorrhoids.

Since then I've been apprehensive about any and all supplements. I feel like I'd be at my target of 165(muscular) by now if I could take supplements.
I stopped fukking with whey for a couple years because of the IGF-1. That shyt had me breaking out like a motherfukker. There's a good one I just found that doesn't make me breakout though:

I shouldn't have tagged you to be honest. It's a combination of three ingredients:
  • Ephedrine
  • Caffeine
  • (Baby) Aspirin
The first two are CNS stimulants that make your body burn more calories while your appetite drops and your energy inrceases. The aspirin makes them more effective.

You basically have to gather all three from a pharmacy and take them responsibly. You have to take it in moderation and responsiblly since it increases blood pressure. Since you're just starting out you shouldn't even concern yourself with this. You need to figure out what diet and training regimen works for you. That alone will be enough for you to start dropping hella fat.

What kind of whey has IGF1 in it? :jbhmm:
My guess is that most wheys have it but different amounts. I was fukking with Platinum ON when my face looked like the back of a Crunch bar and when I got off of it, my skin got much better.

As for Insulin-like growth factor one (IGF-1) that's more interesting and relevant, though it still appears to be a non issue to human health. Different whey product will have varying levels of IGF-1 depending on many variables such as: whether it's a concentrate (WPC) or an Isolate (WPI), how it's produced, and even what time of the year the milk is taken from the cows, and so on.

So, I can't give the levels for every form and type of whey (see aforementioned article above "The Whey it is" to understand different types of whey).

Side Note:
There is a whey product known as Bioactive Whey Fraction (BAWF) protein that has bumped up levels of IGF-1 and other growth factors that should be on the market shortly.
Read "The Whey it is" for more info on that if interested.

As an example (cause I have the numbers handy on my desk and it's the form of whey I personally use!), CFM isolates have approximately 35 micrograms (mcg) of IGF per 100g of powder (recall standard scoop is 20g). Remember, we are not talking gram amounts here but micrograms, which is one millionth of a gram! 35 micrograms could not even be seen by the human eye.

Could there be any negative physiological effects to consuming this amount of IGF-1? Add to the reality how unstable and sensitive to digestion protein based hormones are, it's highly unlikely.

Being a well-known anabolic/anti catabolic hormone, I bet most bodybuilders wished the levels of IGF-1 in whey where much higher!

Recall that IGF-1 was made a bit of a boogieman hormone when a link (correlation) was found between IGF-1 levels and prostate cancer. However, that association was not found in later studies and any cause and effect relationship between the two is fuzzy at best, and even contradictory according to some studies.

For example, some doctors find that PSA levels (used as a predictor of prostate cancer) often drops when giving older men growth hormone (which increase IGF-1 levels) which is not what one would expect to find if IGF-1 was a cause of prostate cancer nor is IGF-1 levels correlated to PSA levels.

Of course being a growth factor, able stimulate cell division and cell differentiation, it has been theorized that like other growth factors (e.g., GH, epidermal, transforming, platelet derived, fibroblast, nerve, and ciliary neurotrophic growth factors and others) IGF-1 could stimulate the growth of some cancers.

Bombed on my 1RM deadlift attempt....doesn't help with people stare and shyt. Need to do my 1RMs in the morning on weekends or something.:mjcry:

Feeling sore all over and have been meh in the gym....think I'm not getting enough daily calories or I'm "over-training". :francis:

Might just chill the rest of the week and start fresh Sunday...
