I need new running/workout sneakers bad but have to wait til July, the Brooks line drops then which tend to be my best fit.

But I am switching gyms, nobody compares to my first spin instructor.

Its tough as hell having to take medication and trying to lose weight, I look great when I’m off them but my mental health goes to shyt after about six months every time I do. I don’t eat the healthiest but I only have this weight on me because of the medicine. Sucks so hard and makes me mad as hell.

I don't get how you brehs choose strength over muscle development/definition. I'm in the gym 5 days a week to have my body looking good not just for the ability to lift heavier shyt :russ:

you CAN have it all.
i had a phase where i focused on numbers only, and i looked and felt like it.
now i focus on aesthetics and athletic performance more than anything, and surprisingly i keep hitting new levels on the numbers w/o that being the main focus.

Yep. Strength can help aesthetics and vice versa.

Nervous about trying to lift again tomorrow. Took about a week off from lifting to let my shoulder pain heal. There's a slight strain when I lift my right arm above my head still, but not as bad as before. And it's usually the most painful overnight if I sleep on it wrong, and I have to stretch it out and loosen it up before it's better. I wanna get back to lifting and stop this running shyt, but I don't know. :lupe:

You can get back at it just always warm up shoulders before lifting even if your not working out shoulders I still warm it up

Went ahead and bought some new sneakers (Sauconys), Jack Rabbit’s gait analysis said my og shoes were correcting for an issue I didn’t or no longer have (it’s been about 5 years since I bought my pair). Was sweating on the treadmill plus the store was hot then had spin class this evening and promptly passed out afterwards.

How come all the running shoes start at $120? I feel like for something you’re getting max wear out and people expect to be replaced after a few years maybe they’d come down just a bit to $80-$100.

Everybody got different goals man

If you work a physical job building strength helps insanely for instance
