Just came up on a 25lb pound dumbbell. Only dropped 31 total, including taxes and shipping. :ehh:

I was aiming for a 30-40lb but I aint tripping...

Almost copped a pair as well. But I'll be aight with one.

I've had dumbells in the past but they just take up space.
Walmart trying to charge $50 for one. Glad I already got some. I don't like overpaying for shyt.

Rogue fitness or one of them sites was charging $35 for ONE! fukking 15lb. Smh.

I wanted a set of 15’s so when I’m doing upper I don’t have to keep switching the damn weight on these bowflex joints when I’m supersetting a heavier exercise with something like curls or extensions. But the way they out here taxing, I’ll just keep changing the weight.

:heh:

nah, the only thing I do below 15 is reverse flys and lateral/front raises which I place at the end of workouts with some floor stuff, but everyone is sold out of 15’s or taxing.

Random but in feb I was actually about to give my bowflex dumbbells to my friend’s husband. He didn’t take them that day, and now that they’re ready to move to Texas, he hit me to come get them this week. I was like nah playa, I’m using these shyts now lol

A fleeting childhood
Closer to 600...but I did a peloton class & ab workout and burnt 570 cals so we good.

Had halibut, roasted potatoes and greens for dinner and a small ice cream bar. So probably netted 600-700 calories in food yesterday
I was expecting to hear that you had a 1200 calorie breakfast :dwillhuh:

On a side note if you only had 600 calories for the day, did you feel well this morning ? I might have something missed up but if let’s say you were gonna have 1500 calories for the day and you worked off 750 then you didn’t hit your calorie goals for the day , right?

I’m fine. The only time I feel “low calories” is in hiit/plyo or really heavy lifting workouts where it’s easy to get dizzy, but I ain’t doing those right now + the lack of “general” activity (walking around an office building, to/from the train, running more errands, etc) means I just don’t need much.

I never count my exercise calories into my food goals if that makes sense. I just kinda let them be a “kicker”. My food intake goal is based on how can I lose X lbs/wk if I weren’t exercising, then exercise serves as a bonus or safety net for that day or two you might eat too much.
