Got a push/chest workout in today:whew: still only did three sets, since I was already hitting a hour:why:

Isometric holds on pushups got feeling it:whew: If this damn kettlebell eventually comes in I might be complete set :heh:





How weak do you suspect youll be when you return to the gym?
I might have to start from scratch :to:


I'm actually not feeling too bad upper body wise anymore, bands really coming through for me:ld: Legs are going to be trash though, no escape from that:heh: And as long as I stay away from the bottle (and keep my protein intake up) I think we won't take to long to get back in gym mode. :ld:

Same boat, what your eating looking like?
My meal breakdown is typically the following:

I used to eat 5 meals a day but now im averaging 4 meals

5-6 oz protein (chicken, eggs, steak, etc)
150g carbs (rice, sweet potatoes, cream of wheat)
Sometimes i toss in some fats (olive oil, avocado)

Snacks: cottage cheese with a scoop of protein powder, fruits

Naw but I wanna build more muscle , I figured it be easier to bulk & then focus on cutting from there.

My main issue is stomach so if I cut first I feel like I'd be too small & harder to build muscle. I'm 230lbs now. Goal is 240 & tone up from that point.

What would you suggest?

All them years of whole pizzas & liquor got me looking 8 months pregnant:sadcam:

I'd say cut the fukk up asap then slowly, cleanly muscle up. Get your bf% down to like 12 or under and then start building muscle. High protein, moderate carbs and fats, 200-300 calorie surplus.
