Nothing better than a nice green smoothie after a heavy workout. I could feel all the nutrients going straight into the muscles :ahh:

got two types of thighs marinating - jerk and my simple marinade (soy + fish sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, serrano peppers, garlic)

got a big bowl of salad prepped with all sorts of veggies, just mixed up a jalapeno cilantro lime dressing and a caesar dressing. salads all week :ahh:

chicken thighs, the GOAT protein :noah:

Spinach
Avocado
Protein powder
Oatmeal
Half banana
Peanut butter
Assorted fruits like strawberries, blueberries, etc
Milk (almond milk)

Tastes so delicious and it’s filling too
bolded is my post workout go-to, down to half a banana - frozen of course!. when i'm trying to make it more of a meal, i'll add 1tbs of PB and 1/4c oats. i also add my super green powder into both versions

Past weekend was so-so. Exercise was on point, food, not so much. More celebrations and the like.

Might have to start declining some of these outings. Can’t make 2 steps forward during the week and one step back on the weekend...
hardest part of dieting/cutting is the amount of social shyt you have to decline or completely not enjoy. really sucks in the late spring/summer when people wanna be out all the time

100%. This summer is even tougher since people are trying to play catch-up socially because of the missed events and gatherings due to the pandemic’s restrictions.

So something weird happened at the gym today. When I attempted to do push up as part of my routine I only did about 20reps before i got tired, rested for about 30s and only did about 15 after that. I then quit and moved to bench press.

Yet when I was doing my bench press, in the middle of a rest after a set I decided to do push ups again and this time I did 70reps in one go, which was a record for me. I was like :ohhh:

I’m gonna do all of my body weight exercises including pull ups when I’m resting during a compound lift as for some reason I seem to get this crazy energy that allows to me to do way more compare to if I was during them as a separate workout
