man i havent done weekend workouts consistently since i was in college when i used to do 5-6 days a week in the gym
its been mon-thurs for my workout days for a while
id only do friday and weekend workouts for a specific reason
example 2 jobs ago i used to travel all over the united states..one of my tasks was being a software trainer..i use to travel up to 2 weeks of the month at times man...if the hotel gyms werent up to par or i felt i missed too many days then i went on friday and the weekends to make up for it
or when i was boxing and wanted to get some work in, the weekends were great for that
or if i was training for something like a 5K or warrior dash, it was added on workout days
fridays and weekends are recovery days now or i do something non gym related thats active like play ball, swim, etc etc
