Fella was super setting flat bench and squats at below or at best close to his body weight.
Rephrase that, I'm struggling to comprehend, how bizarre this possibly is.

The hell is the point in supersets with bench and squat when you are working below body weight![]()

6 Days A Week(Sun-Fri)
Some days(mainly Sun/Tues/Thu)Ill take a Cardio/Weight Training Class other days I'll do a Full Body Program from the Body Fit App
Ive been going to my Gym for about a good 2 Years just going twice a Week for the Classes but other times its been just Work and Go Home,It was since last month Ive went from Job straight to Gym on a 6 Day Sched and it was due to a WL Challenge in my Regular Class that I started going in Heavy than Ive ever did and I intend to Keep On
I mean I would like to know a specific Training Program to use that would fit my Goals,my main thing is just the Chest/Gut....My Arms and Legs are Solid,I just want the Midsection to match up but I can see that you cant just target a specific Area of your Body like that with out working the rest of it and im sure I wont get the BF down on Cardio alone plus I have been doing changes to my Eating Habits by Eating One Meal a day during the week(Dinner)and drinking all the WaterCool. Most of that (other than the stats) tells me you're more than likely not on a specific program/training block. Those goals aren't really SMART goals either, and that's not a bad thing, it just makes it easier to waffle when your goals aren't specific and measurable, at least in my experience.
Let us know if you have specific questions, but if not, good luck.![]()

I guess im trying to go the Body Transformation Route if anything and theres no Waffling here,im all about the Hard Work![]()
The reason I said your goals weren't specific or measurable is because there was no quantitative component to them. What is "slim and muscular", which to me is an oxymoron? By whose eye, yours, gym bros, random fatties, dimepieces, your peoples? Do these people lift or know what muscular is? What body fat range will that occur at? What lean body weight.
some Mind Blowin Info there creh but im a try to Answer them good
Last I had checked im a 28.9% BF/35.1 BMI
Its an even split of Three Days between Lifting and Cardio,The Classes are more for my Learning if anything
When I say "Slim and Muscular" Im thinking say Kev Hart....shyt Look at how Ant Anderson,Birdman,Mef & Jeezy transformed, thats The Wave im trying to catch...Im not trying to look like The Rock and all em
Myself & Dimepieces
and by Dimepieces I mean the ol 6-8s that Run around my ol Boonie Town
It’s so many bad ass chicks in the gym, with sweatpants showing they ass, that it’s gettin hard to focus at times.
And they coming early in the morning![]()
A couple of thoughts/observations:
- The reason I said your goals weren't specific or measurable is because there was no quantitative component to them. What is "slim and muscular", which to me is an oxymoron? By whose eye, yours, gym bros, random fatties, dimepieces, your peoples? Do these people lift or know what muscular is? What body fat range will that occur at? What lean body weight.
- Waffling has nothing to do with hard work, it simply means that it will be harder for you to analyze and critique your progress, since again, you haven't associated any numbers with your goals. You could be carbed up one day and look beastly in a specific shirt and be depleted the next time and look like shyt in it.
- You actually can target specific areas of your body for muscular growth/development. What you cannot do is spot-reduce specific areas of your body for fat loss. Fat distribution is genetically predetermined; the only way to spot reduce is via plastic surgery.
- HSTs (hypertrophy specific training programs) can be very difficult to plan and execute, especially for less-experienced lifters.
- Are you lifting 6 days a week? That's prolly overkill for the majority of folks, especially on a cut, but again, it depends on what your goals are. If the workouts aren't that intense or dense (talking volume) than it's probably not as much of an issue.
- I have no idea who teaches the classes you attend at your gym, but the ones I see at the gyms I visit are mostly an exercise in wasting time. A dedicated program with fewer changes in modalities would prolly net more consistent and more predictable gains.
