Son Goku
Great Sage Equalling Heaven
Just realized I was powerlifting my last 2-4 years of working out. Basically using explosiveness, technique and momentum to lift more weights. That made me strong but the muscle gains weren't as dynamic as they could have been.
A lot of brehs in the gym (when I was 174) would look at me like I was stronger then I looked when I was on the bench. I need to stay focused on bodybuilding style training
Heavy sets are calling me brehsI need to stick to high volume.
I will say powerlifting is easier then bodybuilding.
2 X 3 or 5 X 5 powerlifting training
vs
3 X 12 or till failure/drop sets/supersets bodybuilding training
Not sure what you were doing but that's not powerlifting.

Not sure what the purpose of "bodybuilding" training is if you're not finna step on the stage.

IMO heavy weights >>>> *, but I think folks like to bush em because moving heavy weight is harder than moving lighter weights.
Best of luck in whatever you end up doing.
