Deadlift day yesterday was tough. Hit 525 for 3 yesterday and I had to tap out. Loading and unloading all that weight, warm up sets, and working sets had me feeling like I gave everything I had to those 3 reps :russ:

Today’s lifts were no bueno. Felt good leaving for the gym but had no pop ass session. Realized I’d been doing more running this week without a lot of carbs so the tank was a little empty. Going to have some oats tonight since I have Dead’s in the AM.

I had to stop running for now, the heavy lifting on top of trying to 20-25 miles a week were just too much on my body (dealing with a calf strain now). Hoping I can start again in a few months.

I almost never do but as the weight starts dropping you feel better and those Peleton classes start calling. I know my body so well I knew what it was this morning but wasn’t thinking about when I was doing the running.

Probably been mentioned before, but there's always the haters who feel the need to state that our clothes are tight......as if we are being pretentious.

Our clothes are not tight, they fit. They clearly don't know the difference.....or maybe they do and are just projecting own their insecurities.
your shyt could just be tight..
especially how its seen as a dated look nowadays

I dont really count but...
I eat greek yogurt with fruit and cereal every morning.

The rest the day I eat fruit (or juice/smoothie) if I get hungry

Dinner I eat a lean protein, rice/potatoes and some vegetables (maybe a salad)
Last night I had sushi (Nigiri)...gained a bit of water weight but still feel good.

What I noticed is I dont have to skimp on the simple carbs...
doesnt really seem the affect my weight.

Doesnt really matter what I eat. I just keep the fat low and my body responds really well...
and I dont feel stuffed and bloated after dinner.

Don’t go to low. You need some dietary fat in your diet.

Getting older I started to incorporate more machine chest workouts to help save my shoulders. I did damage to my shoulders from playing football in high school and college, so switching to the machine helped save my shoulders.

When I younger I though machine workouts were lame, but I was young and uneducated.
