Tried this today on bench but with 2.5 lbs except 1 set with a 5.Wrapped up a very good upper day by 9:20 PM PST. Upped my volume on the bench press and BO rows. My pull up capacity is much better, too.
My left side is lagging my right side so I’ve been adding an extra 5lbs on the left side so it works a bit more. So far so good.
I should be able to get a bit more rest since I WFH on Fridays. Planning for an intense leg day tomorrow morning. Gonna do squats, DLs, RDLs, all in one day. Will also add in leg curls, leg extensions and goblet squats.
We move.
I always wondered do y’all shower right after or you musty the remainder of the dayWent down to my office gym and had it all to myself
There’s nothing like a lunchtime lift, get in, put in work, and get through the rest of the workday

Hoping he's just been busy. We'll keep moving for him until his return

watermelon is only going to make me feel worse downstairs. Still trying to work on healthier eating. Going to try to cut back on the sugar. Gonna be interesting this week. Going to go to the gym tomorrow. Chest and tricep tomorrow. Its been awhile. Tuesday gonna try to do jumprope at the gym or another form of cardio. I also want to get a mountain bike so i can go biking in the woods and random areas when i want to. I would go biking around my neighborhood if I had a bike. Havent written a bike in years. Its easy. Starting Strength or basically some variation of a 5x5I need to find myself a weightlifting programme. Right now I am doing Crossfit for 4/5 times a week, sometimes subbing it with running or cycling. I love it, but I want to improve my strength and not always do a high intensity work out. There is space to do your own work outs but due to the setting of a Crossfit box the equipment is relatively limited. I just want to do barbell/dumbbell/calisthenics type work. Anyone know of a good programme?
Starting Strength is what I would recommend but you're going to struggle with recovery. I wouldn't recommend trying to do both.I need to find myself a weightlifting programme. This seems like a relatively basic programme, no accessory work at first glance, but perhaps I am only seeing the novice programming. I would say I am on an intermediate level. But I'll have to see if I can find the books, they might offer more insights.Starting Strength is what I would recommend but you're going to struggle with recovery.
