28 degrees with 73% humidity isn't as cold as I thought it would be. I was comfortable with 2 layers on the bottom and 3 on the top. I'm not going more than 4 layers and I'm not buying any specialty clothing.

Getting closer to my goal of overhead pressing 225 for 5 reps.

Today I got 185 for 8 reps no prob. According to exrx I need to be able to get 190lbs for 10 reps to get 225 for 5 (based on their parameters)

It's the middle of Summer and I wanna try my hand at bulking :aicmon:.

I looked at the numbers over the weekend, and set my prospective bulk goal at 92 to 95kg's. The weight I was when I was :flabbynsick:. :aicmon:

this genetics shyt real b
I've been spending my whole life eating junk
and treating the weight room like a damn playground
still looking like $$$$$$:blessed:*
but it's seems that at a certain point every year
I fall into contemplating my potential
maybes it's inevitable that I one day become a devotee of the church of iron
in a couple years maybe you'll find a young gawd meditating over a stack of plates
ya know eating clean hitting all those macros or whatever
right now I'll continue to abuse the power of my youth:ahh::pachaha:**
Yeah, uh muscle mass takes years to pack on.
Start late, end late. It's up to you.

your stars are but dust on my shoes
You guys think working out 5-6 times a week is bad? I've been doing single body parts for a few months now, and I feel like I'm getting good results, but feel like it might also deteriorate my body over time much quicker.

What's a good # of reps/sets when you're first starting out on deadlifts?
Everyone's different. It's recommended to start off at a low weight where you can really get the form down because deadlifts is one exercise you don't want to fukk around with.

I was at my peak physically when I was going 5-6 x a week. As long as you're getting proper nutrition and rest, your body ain't deterioating bruh :russ:, it's quite the opposite.

Lifting has to be one of the most rewarding, but frustrating hobbies there is.

Take a little break and it's a struggle to work your way back to where you were :mjcry:

Was at 100 x 5 for DB Bench, then took a few months off.

Hit 70 x 5 my first chest day back :flabbynsick:, now a few weeks later I'm at 85 x 5. I don't even want to get into my other lifts like squats :mjcry:

Slowly gettin it back, but damn it's tedious trying to climb my way back up to where I was.
