Shoulda bought the Harbinger grips I'm using on this training block 2 years ago. :snoop: different ballgame when you take grip outta the equation with deadlifts.

Chalk just never did what I need done in that regard. Humble yourself and do what gets YOU to your next step, the gym is a great teacher/re-enforce

Been an interesting two days.

Yesterday did RDL's, Hip Thrusts, and lying leg curls. Even though the weight was light, it still was tougher then I thought it would be considered how long I have been away from the gym. Gonna give Kettlebell Swings a try on Thursday. But this morning my hamstrings & back were so sore but I still did my upper workout this morning.

Dumbbell bench press just feels so much more comfortable then with the barbell. And I prob should of stretch my hamstrings before I did my barbell rows :/ My pullups, dips and military press are all a work in progress, but with the amount of volume I did today, I'm happy with how I did today.

I just gotta get through with the muscle soreness for this week and I should be good to go.

Yo how much weight do yall gain on a bulk...or maybe a better question is how long do you stay on a bulk?

Its tough keeping this shyt up in T Shirt weather (even though my girl gives zero fuks how lean I am).
Im 6 months into it...up about 15lbs (175 to 190)
I'm waiting to see how I do on this cut. Basically I'm not trying to gain more than I can aggressively lose in like 10 weeks. I'm hoping that's gonna be about 15.

Name of the game is gain slow cut fast. And make sure those gains are legit. No sense in putting more weight on the scale if you aren't putting more weight on the bar. But yea I would call 15 in a year generous for someone who's been at it for a few years and isn't getting on a stage.

I am just on a regular ol' cut. Maintenance was like 2600-2700 so I'm down to about 2000 calories and ~250-275g of protein a day. I'm also getting in like 1000-2000 calories of cardio a week. Cant say if it would work for everybody but it def works for me. Worked last year when I dropped ~33 but I gained about 13 of that back. Trying to drop 20 this year and not gain back more than 10

2015 I started at 220, got down to 187 by like August, came back up to ~200 by the end of the year and gaintained.... so this year I'm trying to get down to 180 and stay under 190 in my bulk. Then just get stronger and leaner every year. I got the protocol :ohhh:

Just know that this forum isn't frequented as much as the others so it may take a while. I might take a gander and let you know.
