back in the gym...decided to go down on the light and focus on form...started off with Incline Barbell Bench Press doing a pyramid of 20 lb increases from 95 (12 reps) to 155 (6 reps)...will increase it next week by 5. Haven't been in the gym for 2 months.

Got a 495x1 beltless squat, creeped out the folks in the weight area because it took a min to calm myself because I had to go to a dark angry place to complete that lift.

I REALLY gotta start re-enforcing taking a deep breath before descending though. I was listening to Finn Balor's WWE theme at the time and that shyt started sounding like it was chopped and screwed about halfway back up because I didn't breath in deep enough and started running out of air. It felt very ugly but looked decent when I watched the video.

Not the first time it's happened to me so it's something I gotta work out during this meet prep for sure, I don't need any knee/back problems

Lol a raw rep at 495 for anything should be ugly and angry. I'd be scared if I saw someone pushing/pulling that looking :yeshrug::russell:.

I have the same breath and bp issues with my deads and squats though. I have to be cognizant especially now with this ECA cycle.

Yeah you REALLY have to be on point with breathing and ECA. Heart sounding like an AK47 at times
