Box squats with light weight and parallel helped me when I first got going.
Trains you to get comfortable in the hole. Pause if applicable.
Do you have tight hamstrings and hips?
I went to the gym again and I was more successful in my 2nd attempt..i could only do 10 tho, because my quads were already burning...

I have a bowflex set that runs 5-55 lbs, I think they're good - minus the weird elongated "weight" portion that allows the different plates to lock in. Definitely a good investment if you're short on space.Are they really that good? They seem cumbersome.
