Moments in Weight Room Unawareness:
Brehs, isn’t it common knowledge that is the bar in the rack is loaded with anything more than 135 somebody is likely in the middle of a set? Two separate occasions this week people messed with my set-up without even a pause to see if someone was using it.
1. One of the racks at the gym has pull-up bars. Dude walks past the assisted dip/pull up machine to use the rack while I’m getting water. He proceeds to do 10 short range of motion pull-ups. I stood right next to him to make it as uncomfortable as possible mid-set
2. I’ve got the zercher squat set-up with my favorite p-pad, the rack next to me is empty and there are 2-3 additional tampons in the area. He walks up to my set-up starts to take the pad off, stops, finds another one, puts that on the bar in the other rack and proceeds to start doing 1/4 Squats with the bar superset with military press, with the bar. I almost said something because he’s actually done the same fukkery as the guy above but then I realized I couldn’t boss up over a p-pad![]()
On Zercher Squats I’m taking the scorn for using itP pad
