If you gotta jump through hoops to make it work then it’s no buenoWas able to get through it yesterday after a four day layoff. The real test is going to be when I go back in on thursday.
Starting IF too, going to see how this works for a month, finding the right window and getting cals in is going to be interesting.![]()
They aren’t but it’s important to have them show. Why don't we have an Official Nutrition thread that's stickied?

Alright brehs, a nikka finally hit the gym today. I'm not totally new as far as gym experience, a few years back in high school I used to wrestle and that training was no joke. But, after I was done like sophomore year I ain't hit the gym on a consistent basis since, here and there with a couple of my boys but never on a consistent regimen. Tryna get back on that, a little skinny fat right now you can't really notice when I got a shirt on but I'm kinda tired of not having abs or at least a flat stomach.
I'm pretty much just gonna start over and was thinking doing 5x5, came in today and hit biceps and chest pretty much kinda winging it. Came in and a nikka got weakerWhat yall recommend? I'm pretty much tryna gain muscle I'm cutting out sodas and unhealthy stuff
This is always the conundrumWell you stated two goals that are opposite of each other in some regards. Are you trying to lose fat or gain muscle?
This should be the quoted answer here when this question comes up.This is always the conundrum
I would probably focus on gaining muscle... if you do it in a responsible way you won't get fat. You'll actually get a *little* leaner if noob gains are in play. But you have to be as diligent on your diet and weight watching as you would in a cut.
