So if anyone can recommend some foods or recipes that can help or a quick and painless way of ending this :francis: I would greatly appreciate it.

If you are trying to get/stay lean and not doing cardio you are playing yourself.....

Exercise Suppresses Appetite By Affecting Appetite Hormones

A vigorous 60-minute workout on a treadmill affects the release of two key appetite hormones, ghrelin and peptide YY, while 90 minutes of weight lifting affects the level of only ghrelin. The research shows that aerobic exercise is better at suppressing appetite than nonaerobic exercise and provides a possible explanation for how that happens. This line of research may eventually lead to more effective ways to use exercise to help control weight.

I have seen this over the last few weeks... if I can't get on the bike I wanna eat more. It becomes a cycle in either direction

I been working at for 2-3 months now and noticed progress has stalled because the most cardio I do is 5-10 minutes of jump rope. Running is hard on my knees but I may have to suck it up.

I'm just under 196 right now. Didn't think I look it but I can see how. Yeah my goal is to gradually lose weight. Wanna get down to under 190 in a month when I go for a follow up exam. The high cholesterol is the one that worries me more but I can control more with my food. Like cut carbs and sugar with the diet. Eat more whole grain foods. The diabetic one I can just cut off candy and processed sweets which should be easier. Cutting things off is easier than adding new stuff to the diet that I'm not used to. I do hit up the gym but that don't defeat nutrition. My dad is diabetic and my mom has high cholesterol and had a heart attack so maybe it's hereditary but I didn't help my case either. Just gotta drop my weight and numbers when I go again in 3 months for blood work. My total cholesterol was 202 and over 200 was high. Glucose was worse at 151 over 99. Got three month and six month goal I gotta set, and then a nine month and year.

I found running outside better than the treadmill, it got me better results especially as my metabolism slowed. It maybe that a combination of elevation, flat surfaces and downhill was better than the steady state on a treadmill. The best machine in the gym for cardio for me was the stairmaster
