Essential Random Gym Thoughts Revisited...

Some of the more recent fukkery I’ve seen:

  • Dude doing barbell complexes super set with assisted pull-ups
  • Dude squatting with the p-pad and the 20 pound fixed weight barbell. In the rack
  • Dude walking around the gym back and forth doing DB Curls. Think like Farmers Carries as in a set pattern and then he’s literally breathing like he’s dying.


How do these guys come up with this stuff if only they knew how much of their time and how silly what they were doing was.

I wish working out accounted for 80% of the outcome. I hate dieting everyday :francis:
Breh !!!

My protein intake is literally trash I don’t consume enough for how hard I lift .

My calories are cool but I eat mostly salads and fruit .

Fills me up !!!!

Brehs, I've been thinking of doing 5x5 for compound lifts and 12x3 for accessories. Example, 5x5 for overhead barbell press and 12x3 for other shoulder workouts .
5x5 for bench press, and 12x3 for flies and other workouts. Is this okay? :patrice:

I was lazy af last week that rain takes me out plus had me feeling lethargic as idk what, back at it, I should get my results today but since she didn’t call I assume there’s nothing wrong.

I try to remind myself we all have different goals, directions, etc. Truth be told my gym has an older demographic who I generally think weight train because they are told they should. Hence them spending 20 minutes stretching, a cardio machine session and then assistance movements like shrugs, tricep pulldowns and bicep curls.....................

Yeah fruits and salads wont get it done. :francis:

The consensus is 1.5 grams of protein per body weight(262 grams of protein for me). Im supposed to consume 5-6 meals of chicken/beef everyday like im a viking or some shyt. If i slightly wake up too late my whole day of eating is ruined.

There has to be a unknown trick to this right?

Been sleeping on YouTube Music app. Spotify is nice and all but it doesn't have mixtapes and hour-long DJ sets. YouTube Music app is nice as hell for this. And I don't pay for either. :blessed:

Nothing wrong with my thyroid doc said so I just need to get off my arse but I dropped two pounds, hopefully this isn’t just water weight!
