Crazy how this time of the year makes people eat more when you would think it would be the winter.

Man..you ain't lie. I just got back from NYC and since Wednesday I've been having a jolly good time. Cookouts, eating out, parties, brunches and alcohol. Luckily I did some bike riding and did a lot of walking. I'll need this week to detox and get back into the groove of things.

Good thing is that this will be my last "hurrah" for a while, both for financial and fitness reasons. I don't see myself going on any type of vacation at least until Christmas. There'll still be parties and events, but I don't think they'll be as heavy as what went down these past 5 days.

It's all about balance bruh, if you have a bad week you can make up for it the next week by supplementing that bad week with a good one by eating hella veggies and less carbs as well as killing shyt in the gym with weights and cardio. I've had a bad few days myself but I won't allow it to become a habit and I know how to makeup for the few bad days.

Most deff it's about balance. It's just that summer is very easy to be out of balance. Like you alluded to, this is the season of day-parties, brunches, cookouts and general parties/HHs. If you're already at your goal then maintaining may not be too hard. If you're trying to cut it definitely makes it a bit more challenging especially as people, at least in the Northeast, want to make the most out the warm weather, longer days and social activities (which often involve crap food and liquor). Once labour day hits people tend to scale down a bit.

Yep. Social settings are a muthafukka. Hard to go to barbeques or parties and not indulge :manny: I was eating leftovers from a fish fry for like 3 days :pachaha:I'm in rabbit mode for the next few weeks tho.

Hooping and push-ups saved me from complete flabvilion, but I'm tryna get my physique back. Anyone have success with a PPL routine? If so, could you recommend?
Im biased but I love my routine... 1 push/pull day, 1 shoulder/abs/legs day... with supersets I get a lot done just 4 days a week

Question for the brehs.... my arm accessory work is getting out of control. I'm curling and tricep extending 100-110lbs. How can I hit my arms with less weight? shyt is out of control

How are you splitting your days up?
2 days of chest/back arms, 2 days of legs/shoulders/abs

All I do for arms each week is 3 sets of tricep extensions, 3 sets of overhead tricep extensions and 6 sets of curls over 2 days. Enough for me, just want some new exercises maybe
