I'm so proud of myself..I've got the snacking I was doing under control..thank goodness....now it's just trying to see if I can do my runs without taking a puff of my inhaler. Seasonal asthma is such a pain to manage. I cant wait to go back into my gym

Ordered some resistance bands and waiting for them shyts to pull up
best thing i ever bought with a 100 dollar gift card to dikks sporting goods my brother got me..a 150lb resistance bands set...it helps to maintain

30 mins and I'm :whew:

Throw in some weights afterwards and I'm good for the day.

Let me just cop a few more items for a small home gym and I may not see the inside of a Gold's Gym until 2022 :hubie:

Once my soccer group starts back up then we're really in business :ohlawd:

Nah, I get what he's saying.

Low-key, it kinda makes sense though. Think about it. Speed is not determined in large part by strength. I know a lot of cats much faster than me that can't squat nearly as much.

Dude is saying once you get past a squat that is 170% of your bodyweight, adding extra pounds to your lift won't make you inherently faster. :ufdup:

Makes sense to me. It explains why so many pro athletes, legit genetic freaks, are so weak when it comes to powerlifting but still dominate at their sport, ignoring the fact that they aren't PLers. :dwillhuh:

Also explains why I see so many football players working with their team trainers and only squatting 45°. :snoop:


I kinda like this coach.

I got a pull up bar ...couldn’t hardly do none the first week. I’ve lost a few lbs/body fat since then. Been doing a lot more , attempted some yesterday & now my damn door about to crack :unimpressed:

All that to say which one you order ?:russ:

I was confused as fukk on why you posted it until I realized that was the Bama strength coach.

Part of strength is muscle recruitment not just pure muscle size. I wonder I wonder if there is an overlap there with speed muscle recruitment that creates that ceiling :lupe:

Taimasi 23 piece set off of amazon..

Comes loop bands and hand grip and jump rope..

I think i got one of the last sets..it just sold out
