A fleeting childhood
For those who do HIIT and lift how do you cycle in rest days?

are you alternating lift and hiit days then eventual or rest? Or rest days in between each activity (lift/rest/hiit/rest)?
Wind sprints in the morning
Lifting at minimum three hours after that

my rest days are whenever I’m too sore that day to work out.

30 on 1 min off as long as many sets I can do. I've you've never used an Airbike before then you may be missing the context of how brutal it is.
Very familiar, did them before. 30/60s shouldn’t fry you too much as long as everything else is in order, just wouldn’t do a CNS taxing lift the next day. When you reserve the ratio to more time on than off you might need a rest day in between or a more dialed down lift following.

So with that, what would the time inbetween meals need to be at minimum if let’s say you are awake for 14 hours a day?
I would imagine you would space it out time wise to keep it as equal relative to number of meals and the protein macro goal for the day.

Overall my takes:
  • trying to add lean muscle on IF isn’t ideal.
  • Three meals is probably the best starting point and if you can do more/spread the macros out better but not at the sacrifice of overall adherence
