The fukkery today felt like disrespect to all my brehs in here that aren't able to go to the gym right now:

  • Aspiring personal trainer not able to hit depth after 2 sets of 135
  • Dude that usually does 2.5 hours of dumbbell/machine arm work and push-ups loaded up the bar for squats in the rack today
    • Me: :leon:
    • 1st Set: 115, not parallel
    • Me: :gucci:
    • Works up to 185 with the same depth :beli:
    • Spends 30 minutes on leg press doing that and calf raises working up to 8 total plates:martin:

Aspiring personal trainer would've def seen me off in the distance like

Usually when I'm killing time at work on Fridays I check out the Physique Phriday thread on r/fitness just to compare my numbers to the guys, and see if any new chicks posted up

I'm always OCD about my weight mainly just because I know once I get over 155 my soccer game suffers. But after the rona and sports being cancelled I'm up to 170 at 5'6". I cant imagine being 6' but the same weight (or even less) like a lot of these folks I see in that thread. It just seems like it shouldnt be possible. The human body is insane

As I was finishing up hogging my rack for 3 hours, the same spicy cac that had damn near broke his back earlier got crushed under 335 with his homeboy spotting him dikk to ass :dame:. Rep looked ugly going down and somehow I knew he wasn't going to make it. Dude crashed to the bottom of the rack and I was dying laughing out loud :pachaha:. Him and his spotter dropped everything but a plate off and reset the bar. I'm thinking, "Good. Bout time you got the message." Wrong :skip:.


Then, dude took like 2 or 3 minutes then went for another single at the same weight:damn:. This dude hit about a 45° angle, his homie hugging his ass and nodding in the mirror at the depth like :jawalrus: :myman:.


I left the gym laughing on the inside and :upsetfavre: on the outside.

Half-squat 335 with a spotter, belt, and sleeves on, with chalk on your back, bréses. :deadmanny::deadmanny::bryan:

Funny part is that I was on the dead lift platform and it basically forms a triangle with the two squat racksso I was stationed behind them both. Had to look away to not hit them both with the :hhh:

Since there are no free weights available, I bought a 46lb cinder block from Menards earlier for a dollar.

About to get my workout on, Fred Flintstone style....
Got one in today. Pretty efficient workout.

Pretty much the same as using a 45lb plate, except the grip is a little different and gloves are a must.

A fleeting childhood
While at the store I used to walk past workout mats like an ugly chick at the bar.

Now that "ugly chick" is looking real good right now, and all of the stores are out.

I'm using an old curtain for now :aicmon:
I’m working out on carpet so I sprinkle carpet cleaner on the area where I was working out afterwards :francis:
