7.3 miles ran so far today :steviej:

That's a month's worth of cardio.

 :scust:

That gym sounds :shaq: but is too far away. Also, the drive to the gym is GOAT. It allows me to take my preworkout and focus on the abuse I'm about to receive. :blessed: Also, you can't really bump cloud or drill music on a bike like that. :sadcam:

Even if I could bike to the gym (I can), I never would. I never lift for less than 2 hours, so if I bike there I wouldn't have the energy to make it back home after. A good gym session leaves me slumped in the lobby praying for death, not with enough chi to hop on a bike for 20 minutes just to get home. :hhh:

I like my entire gym session to be roughly 90 mins cardio included. Even after lifting, I can still bike but I still like to keep the biking session to about 15-20 mins.

Not really on that preworkout wave. Go figure.

Man this Gold's gym is open 24/7, has a lot of weights, space and a dedicated sqaut and DL area and it's $33 cheaper than my previous gym :wow:

But it's a 35-40 min bike ride one way from my current spot :francis:

I'll still join but idk if I'll be able to bike there everyday. Ideally 20-25 mins one way would be ideal. ~45 min cardio round trip, then another 45 mins lifting. I detest driving to the gym, it's just "dead time" to me.

Just run to the gym. That will be your warm up.

Then run back home as your postworkout cardio.

On some straight up, fitness crack fiend status.

Lol, this gym is like 7 miles away. That's a workout in of itself :russ:

My previous gym was about a 15-20 min bike ride one way. So going there and back was my cardio for the day.

I got 7 months to get this body looking decent. I was thinking a cut first cuz I been eating like shyt during activation and training, and then lean bulk for the rest. I’m kinda still a novice, what would y’all do in my position?

What is “decent”?

On the surface a cut and bulk in 7 months probably doesn’t make sense.

Like @The ADD said, it probably doesn't make sense to do both in only 7 months, especially if you don't (or soon may not) have gym access.

I would personally lean bulk. A lot of the extra body fat will get burned up in the process, and then you'll be bigger and just as lean if not leaner then you are now.

Yeah I was thinking of lean bulking. My national guard armory has a gym and I live like 15 minutes away so I go there all the time.

If you can, do a body fat test to see where you are at. If not, take measurements and take pictures in your drawers. Make sure you have access to a scale. Calculate your estimated BMR and add 200-300 calories a day. You should be drinking at least 3 liters of water, eating clean whole foods, and sleeping 7-9 hours a day, etc.

Start with a good workout routine that prioritizes progressive overload. As the weights go up, yours should too. If the scale says you're losing weight, bump your calories up like 200 a week. If you start getting fluffy, decrease by 200 or so. Keep doing this until you become a physical god.
