Depends on how you usually get activation on squats as a starting point. For example my squat form/stance make me more generally glute/ham dominant so I don’t get a lot of activation in my quads.Back in the gym fellas my dumbass was running on adrenaline didn’t eat anything all day but I got through my workout also did 4 rounds of boxing

Either way outside of that I would think tinkering around with Bulgarian Split Squats, Leg Extensions with a negative on the eccentric, high volume walking lunges and single Leg Press are worth looking at
