Fasting does a great job at resetting your body if you start to plataeu. I've noticed my best gains in terms of building muscle come after I do a 3-4 day fast.
Its like the body knows you lost some mass (mostly fat) and will compensaye for that fat loss by building more muscle.
You can choose to not believe me but its something I've noticed in the last few months.

Couldn't be me though. Although, if you're not lifting 5-7 days a week, then maybe you can get away with only eating 1 or 2 days a week.![]()
I've heard rhetoric similar to this but fasting for 3 days is crazy to me.

I said I was going to one meal a day starting new year's im not bulking thoughI only do these long 3-4 day fasts once every 6 weeks or so now. Once your body is in a healthy weight range you don't want to do too many long fasts. You wanna save them for theraputic means every now and then.
My day to day consists of intermittent fasting. I eat one meal a day. Fast the other 23 hours. Its worked well for me. Been able to do a slow clean bulk where I'm building muscle while minimizing fat. I also only work out 2 days a week (full body). I find two intense 2.5 hour long full body workouts per week to be sufficient for building muscle while maximizing recovery.

Funny cause I'm doing 2.5 hour full-body workouts 5 to 7 times a week, am still lean,
Do you take PEDs?
If not then props to you and your ability to recover. 3 full-body workouts per week would be my breaking point. If you can do it 5-7 times per week without PEDs then you are blessed.
