Weights?! Hell no but running, walking and even some cross training outside is good if weather allows and especially compared to being indoors with Covid. Here it’s like spring outside without the pollen but I bet someone is in my gym pounding away on the treadmill and I would give them the :gucci:

Yes, weights. Used to lift morning, noon, and night out there. :upsetfavre:

Then I started making gains and evolved to Insidermon. :smugdraper:

Lemme bless y’all real quick. This man is a genius, I’ve been following him for years. You’re looking at a decades worth of research right here all put into one training philosophy.

I’ve made great gains off of it. My pics are posted in this forum.

The full blueprint is in the description of the video if you don’t wanna watch it.

At best, it's a type of specialization routine to bring up a lagging body part (which often means forfeiting progress is other areas).

At worst, it's a recipe for overuse injury.

You obviously didn’t watch the vid, everything is backed up by extensive scientific studies also referenced in the video description. This isn’t some average gym bro giving his thoughts.

But hey, do as you will. I’m just spreading knowledge

You implied we didn't have to since it's in the description. :skip:

And most of us remember 3D Alpha when he was "lil bro" to Chris Jones damn near a decade ago.

Anyway, "high volume = best hypertrophy" isn't a new conversation. It just blew back up thanks to the Schoenfeld et al. paper from a couple years ago followed by gymbros rejoicing. Your video cites some of them in the description. You can read Lyle McDonald written review or watch him debate some of the authors to learn why it's far from definitive.

You're best off utilizing both high and low volume.

Not just that, but extremely high frequency seems like it (empirically) would lead to some
full
, like you alluded to earlier.

Dude stanning for the video is the same breh that can't put two plates on bench, so anything he says gym-wise is automatically sus to me.

Coli nikkas already balk at squatting daily, imagine squatting multiple times a day. Hell, even training the same muscle group multiples a day with isos is :patrice:. Cyclists biking multiple times a day =/= lifting multiple times a day. You could do calis multiple times a day, or hit weights once a day and be done with it. :yeshrug: Most of these calis-only dudes are smaller than the average gymrat anyways, so maybe calis aren't the best for size if weights are available? :ehh:
