Got on my Forrest Gump and went walking, only was supposed to go to the Capitol, then was like might as well make it to the Washington monument, then said might as well go to the Lincoln memorial, then ended up walking all the way to Georgetownthat was 6 miles, said I’d walk back but only made it half way and called an Uber for the final 3.5 miles. Got 9 miles in today on a whim
decided I’m getting a bike, DC is way easier to bike than Oakland where it seems like drivers are actively trying to kill bikers (bikers are also aggressive a$$holes that don’t follow traffic signs in the bay)
