There’s fitness and match fitness. Soccer kicked my ass crazy yesterday. Played about 90 mins but even 30 mins in I was gassed.
Those quick lateral movements and covering sprints on counter attacks will test just how good your cardio is.
Scored one goal and gave an assist on my return back
Ankle held up pretty well but there’s still some “softness” when I lock in my ankle to shoot. I think its just because I haven’t played in a while.
I’ll still keep the boot on when at home. 1x a week is good for now. Cut is coming along well (less pressure on my ankle etc) so I’m not gonna rush it.
