One lady was quarter-squatting 100 lbs for sets. Almost form policed.
Runner creh I talk to was asking for form advice and I told him some people have such fukked up form you can hear their knees cracking under the strain.
Same rack, another dude walked in and half-squatted the bar with the p*ssy pad on it for a single set then threw on 230. I walked over and asked how his routine was set up.
He said he only does one set with the bar to stretch it out then jumps into his working sets. I asked if he only does one set usually and noted going from the bar to 230 is a big jump. Mentally I'm thinking how you gonna stretch while not even approaching parallel?
Dude was obviously annoyed so I didn't push it. Runner dude was nearby and on cue we heard half-squat dude's knees creaking as he continued to half-squat with a neoprene belt on.
Oh well. You can't save em all.
