Woke up and said I was gonna take another rest day but I seen a strength levels video by Jeff Nippard and I need to hit advanced lifts by January 2023 :damn:(my ten year anniversary of lifting weights)

Still in the Advanced category on all 3 lifts. :ehh:
I've actually dipped into the Elite category at various times (Squat in Year 3, Dead in Year 5). :ehh:
Should have another comp coming up in December, and another 1,000 lb Club shirt to grab from a gym. :ehh:

I still have my annual Push/Pull to prep for in Oct, and a 1,500 Pound Club challenge I'll be looking to do ASAP. :hamster:

This definitely feels like a chillier OVERALL fall than last year
Nah I’m in Texas which does surprisingly get cold! Hopeful to not have to deal with snow but I can still wear my fur—-er I mean uh, Bubble goose and Timbs like a real one:datazz:

What is this advanced lifts series one talketh of?

on another note, taking that day off and not biking to the gym on deadlift day has given me that extra juice........legs still fried from the combo of squatting and biking most days to the gym tho............I'm fretting what's gonna happen when I add the Muay Thai back in.....:mjcry:

Not an advanced lift series, just a litmus test for folks to see how strong they are in relation to their Big 3 lifts. :ld:

i hope i can maintain some discipline next week when thanksgiving rolls around..my mom told me the menu..im going to eat and drink good :wow:

hope the gym from my hometown is still open ..will be bringing my gym bag with me...have my boxing equipment in it so i can get some work in

Brehs been a long minute since I posted my progress:

I'm sitting at 6'1 189 lbs, 10% bf, but slowly adding more food and want to fill out the frame a bit while not adding too much fat.

I had a coach for the last 6 months, but i'm so much better at regulating my shyt so solo now.

The key really is 5-6 clean meals, daily cardio (30 mins on stair master or if you like walks hit 10-12k steps a day you can add or reduce depending on your goals of course), good sleep, and for me i usually mix in a cheat meal once a month, that weekly shyt don't do it for me. No alcohol, no smoking.

I train 5 days (weekdays) and take the weekend off, Push Pull Legs, abs after every training session.

At 41 i'm in the best shape of my life, i be looking back at my pics when i was 30 and can't believe how much better i am.

Habits that are ingrained produce the results. You don't need to be perfect, as long as you show up and if you fall off, get back on. And do not listen to 90% of the junk out there, all these ppl always promising quick results, shortcuts and bs. Block out the noise and keep it simple.
