I Got this
SML-1 Rogue 70" Monster Lite Squat Stand$415.00★★★★★★★★★★(667)
their adjustable bench
a bar
and like 400lbs give or take in plates for under 2k, maybe somewhere in the 1300-1700 range if my memory serves me correct. I also got a Plate tree but that isn't a must have so I didnt include that price
Solid advice but I would spend extra and get an actual rack. If you're serious about really working out, just spend the extra for one.

It's weird, I don't feel deads at all in my upper back. You tall or short gang? Orangutan or T-Rex arm gang?

I wonder if my inability to feel them in my upper back is because of my proportions. :patrice:

Im tall long arms. (6 foot w 6'4 wingspan)

I dont feel them on my upper back usually but i thought the pain I was having would force me to quit since you have to brace your whole back. Didnt really affect me.

73" tall (I lied on the license and claimed 6'2" :mjlol: w/ 80" wingspan).

Long-arm gang ain't taking losses on deadliffs. :mjlit: Now when it comes to bench... :mjcry:

First time flat benching in a very long time :jbhmm:

Not a very fun exercise compared to OHP

Almost negged your ass for this. Why don't you just do both like a normal gym bro?

And I think flat bench is a very fun exercise. I'm always psyched to see if the weight will go back up or not. :lolbron:

I’m not against it I just always found myself doing incline or db bench press

You wild for that one :lolbron:

There's really no reason for me (a PL/powerbuilder) not to do flat bench. All the arguments against it seem to posit that flat bench and db bench are a 1:1 swap; they're not.
:francis:

Unless I'm doing a Bulagarian block, I do all 3 concurrently along with OHP. Flat Bench builds the strength, Incline provides the crossover, DB Bench provides the size and corrects of asymmetries and OHP strengthens the shoulders which drives the flat bench up.

YMMV. :ehh:

That Rogue rack I posted can handle more than 95% of lifters need unless you see benefit of the pull-up aspect with a full rack, but you can do the entire starting strength routine with what I posted + an adjustable bench
