That's not to say your ish won't work or work well but Junior is a proven program, as is it's big brother for squats.

Crazy reddit cacs have even done Junior for deadlifts.

On average, dudes are adding 7-13 kgs to their bench in three weeks with it. I wouldn't recommend doing additional pressing work on it though.
