Pretty much was
@xXMASHERXx said. Why not?
Me and boys cycle on Sundays and we usually do 25 miles, but yesterday the weather was really good and we said let’s do 30 miles.
We got to our midway point (start of a bridge) and we were like, there is no way we don’t actually cross the bridge now that we’re here.
2025 I told myself I really have to take my health far more seriously. Lost my Uncle last year at 58 and a couple of my close friends all lost their fathers at relatively young ages (late 50s, early 60s).
I must build up the good habits while I’m still young (29) because it only gets harder from here (changing diet, adding more exercise etc).
Plus, I’m in Cali and the weather and culture is very conducive for being fit and active so again, why not?
Exactly. We enjoyed the push and the weather was amazing. Planning to do a proper 60 miler which loops around the SF Bay in a few weeks once the rains let up.
Pretty much this. We planned to do 30-32 miles but our midway point was the start of the San Rafael-Richmond Brigde.
Like we weren’t going to just get to the bridge and not cross it
Back on forth on the bridge added another 9 miles to the ride.
