Thinking about a 30-35mil ride on Sunday.
I usually do the North Bay or East Bay but I think I’ll ride the Peninsula this time around. Palo Alto and the areas surrounding Stanford Uni have some of the best and most scenic trails. Can’t wait.
Me and my boys ended up doing ~40miles. We hit the Peninsula of the SF Bay but instead of riding a relatively flat trail to Stanford, we decided to climb to his vista point aptly named “Top of the World” in San Carlos.
1050ft of elevation gains in that climb. Brah, our quads were on fire. No walking the bike allowed lol.
I’m really falling in love with my Sunday cycling. The views on this trail in particular were amazing. Such a great way to clear your head.
But that ride knocked me TF. Slept through my AM gym alarm and everything
I messed up on my form doing DLs on Thursday so a slight re-aggravation.
Pain is still there a bit even though I’ve been taking ibuprofen around the clock, but it’s getting better. I really gotta watch my form moving forward.
I’ll have to do an upper body PM workout today. Lucky for me, my desk at work has a standing feature so I’ll deff be standing all day today to help with the spine compression.
