6:41 PST. Wednesday’s are now my active recovery days. Instead of lifting I try to bump up my daily steps from 10K to 15-17K.

Go to gym and walk on the treadmill for 40-45min on a slight incline.

No more, no less. It’s more about keeping up my early AM gym routine/schedule than gains per se. Still get a decent sweat.

Walking is very underrated. We move.

Side Note: Left hammy feels good, still a tad sore but I can walk fine. More ice and rest this week before I see what the PT saying.

So my PT’s initial assessment was I have a slight sprain in my hammy but nothing crazy. More like a grade 1.

Suggested I stop with any hammy focused lifts but still keep working the surrounding muscles.

So leg day today I did lighter squats that didn’t aggravate things.

225 4x10

Then walking lunges with 35lb weights a few laps. Tossed in some calve raises and hip adduction/abduction work on the machines and I had a very productive day.

Take some load off but don’t take days off (too many days that is).

Definitely no soccer tomorrow though :to:
