I was dating a girl who did this shyt periodically. I'v known her for years so I know she never misses a text. She wanted me to help her workout one weekend so I hit her up and she responds about 15 minutes before i supposed to pick her up.. that's a violation in my book. I never responded to her.. I tell her the next day she needs to respect my time and respond in a timely manner. Her response was "how you gonna tell me how to respond to a text?".. This is a 24 year old woman.

If you don't want to play childish, games, be above them. You can't always take these things so personally and to the heart......It's a mistake to project your traits onto other people, I may be intelligent, perceptive, aware, reliable, considerate, but many people aren't, or those traits aren't as defined....

Also, the sheer amount of activity on many women's phones is a factor. If you are getting multiple emails, texts, FB, IG snapchat updates and alerts every hour, a text may get 'lost' in the shuffle, it's not an excuse, or a justification, just reality. It's often not as coldly impersonal as some believe, more of an oversight then a slight.

And, of course, getting a text three days or a week later is hilarious, and totally not in line with any reality any of us live in, where you are too busy. No, it just wasn't important, but why should you care? If I text a girl Tuesday, to come over, or go out, whatever, and she gets back to me 5 days later, and is down, why do I care? Given her relative inconsiderate actions, I am in a position to be petty, or whatever, but why? Don't invest too much into people, esp. if you just want to go out or sleep with them, whatever, it doesn't have to be a textbook romance. Just hit someone else up, and they'll (first girls you texted) in all likeliness get back to you, sooner or later. Blocking people, not responding, is just petty and counterproductive.

I agree with you for the most part except this.

Let's say a chick knew you had $5 million coming her way from you personally, best believe all of your forms of communication are a high priority to her and she will get back to you in a quick manner. Forgetting or becoming too busy to get back to you would be impossible for her to do no matter how undated she is with day to day activities.

That quote goes more to mindset and circumstances....it's not a direct defense.....And of course, it speaks to priority. People aren't always reliable, honest, or considerate, in their communication. There is a certain emotional maturity in communicating via text, that affects people of all ages, but mostly women in their 20s, or with a certain disposition. But, it's not usually, in my opinion, cold blooded manipulation, as much as it's a loose ordering of priorities based on a sometimes incomprehensible scale, going from how much she likes you, how busy the day was, who she's with at the time, it's not an exact science by any means. And decisions may come off to you or I, as bizarre, or contradictory, or offensive.
