Go back, and read what I said. Black male privilege ISN'T tangible. Its an experience that can only be had by black males. There are certain things we, as black men, don't have to worry about because we are black men. I'm not arguing that we're living this life of luxury, but we only know what its like to be discriminated against based on our race. Black women have to deal with the set backs of being both a woman AND black. You're using white male talking points to combat my argument. Black women have to deal with the same shyt that we do because they're black. They also have to deal with a whole host of other issues because they're women, and we never have a dialog about that the way we discuss black male issues. The way you deny your black male privilege is reminiscent to the way a poor white person denies his/her white privilege.

what are you fukking talking about. we are discriminated against based on race AND gender. the man of any given community will be seen as more of a hostile threat than the fukking woman. you haven't listed ANY examples of black male privilege, or this so called "experience" that's superior to BW.

if most of these black women turned male tomorrow, what the fukk would they gain? cus if you ask me, their 'experience' would be much harder. like i said, BM are doing worse in school, the job market, and we're penalized harsher in the judicial system. there is NO safety net for black men like there is for BW. so in what arenas, are we experiencing all this privilege? BE SPECIFIC, don't just spit empty rhetoric.

@Queen instead of dapping and running, you're also free to chime in. i've asked y'all women for 3 yrs to define black male privilege, and none of y'all have been able to define how BM have it easier than BW

The whole purpose of art is to get people riled up....

The reason you get riled up is due to the message.
I am not riled up, i dont think most people will notice or acknowledge this person. Several examples of similar but better art has been posted. Its whatever

Thanks random blk man for trying to get ur come up off bashing and stereotyping the women of ur race. Blk women are probably the least materialistic of ALL races, most willing to get in the trenches and financially contribute to our relationships if not carry them completely, most educated demographic in America,

And this dude couldn't think of any other way to depict his women...

I could easily draw a picture of a blk man being led around on a chain by a white woman with suggestively saggin pants crawling through the glass of white acceptance with drugs, absentee fathers, hoods and unemployment makin him take every inch. But it seems that some blk men are only sensitive to blk male stereotypes.

What we learn about, what we value, what we fight for, our attitudes and ideologies, as black people, are all seen through the eyes of black men, and in the best interest of black men. These black women who fight for black men and our issues, the fact that black men are more visible in the media, our input holds more power than black women's. Yes the black community is majority matriarchal, but the society that we live in is patriarchal and so black men will benefit from that (the attitudes, beliefs, politics, relationships) more than black women. We get targeted. Black women get ignored.

The thing about art and pornography is they both live to push the envelope. It's nothing I'd hang up but is it really any more offensive than people drawing pictures with shyt, or a Jesus image in a toilet with urine? Posters on LSA will only use it to further their "black man ain't shyt" crusade they champion on there. Outside of that cause they really could give a damn. Reverse rolls and they'd all be like "yeah, yeah, yeah". I couldn't tell you what his intention was in the first picture (even though its real ghetto gaggerish), but the second one is him (my interpretation) depicting women whoring themselves for material items (hence the Mercedes key as a phallus). I could be wrong, but people are going to interpret it how they see it....that's art. The fine line between "art" and "obscenity" is always subjective and based on the viewer.

One thing I can say. People who didn't know who he was yesterday know about him today. So by even mentioning it, they've given him massive publicity. And what artist doesn't live for controversy? They bask in it, I don't think too many artists want uncontroversial works. That cookie-cutter "safe" art doesn't get people talking therefore.....no $$$$$.

Kidnap him, beat him within an inch of his life, and keep it moving. No need to promote his shyt with "conversation" and "debate"

hate responses like this, on some 'hope he dies' shyt. seen some dumb bytches say even worst on twitter.

just comment on his work and kim.

You can. It doesn't make the message a lie. A lot of Tu Quoque fallacies going on here. You can bring people's attention to one message that you obviously don't like it doesn't mean he's ignoring the issue you brought up.
