Personally, I’m a big proponent of keeping it 100 with people when they are essentially strangers or new friends. Yes, I will tell you that I may not be over my ex, and I’m using this date to help a brother move on. Yes, I will tell you that my finances are messed up because I recently lost my job. Yes, I will tell you all of that because I have no emotions invested in you yet, so you walking out the door is fine by me. But once you start trying to reflect the image of the perfect person, you start crafting a picture of yourself that is far from the reality. And it’s a bytch trying to remember and live your lies on a daily basis. But, even worse than that, eventually the TRUTH is going to come to the surface, and if that happens when you’re now in love with this person, you’re officially screwed.

I just cut this girl off for the very same reason. Main point and fact is that women are problems if you let them be. It comes down to careful decision making and who you let around you. If the only screen you have to let a woman into your castle (your life) is that she looks pretty, you are inviting all kinds of problems into your life. Looks are what 'swag' is to females. We get on women all the time for getting taken advantage of by dudes who only bring 'swag' to the table, but a lot of men get taken because the only criteria they have is that she looks pretty. Also, the respect you get is the respect you demand. If you let women slick talk you and put you on the backburner, that's exactly the position you will be in when dealing with them. It's better to be alone than to be in the presence of disrespectful females.

I think it was the movie goodfellas, but they had this dude that was new to the mob sitting at a table with an older guy and the older guy told a joke and everyone started laughing... the new dude said, 'haha you're funny', and the older dude stopped laughing and got real serious and said, "What do you mean I'm funny? Do I look like a clown to you? Am I here to amuse you?"
A lot of people would have looked at that as an overreaction, but in that world, you can't be taken as a joke. The underlying premise is that small social interactions will get you categorized if you aren't careful...like for example, a woman giving a dude her purse to hold... he may not be aware of it, but if he holds that purse, she covertly disrespected him. when these women do little things and see they can get away with it, they start thinking you are weak and will either escalate or peel off. So it's cool you realized she was trying to 'male ho' you and establish socially that she can pop into your life at any moment and demand some kind of entertainment. You simply rushing to accept her offer would have covertly put you into a male clown status to where she can pop in and get entertainment whenever she is bored. The average dude doesn't think that deep because he's so thirsty for attention that he would have rushed to accept that offer. Expound more on these social interactions. I get classed as a goofball by many women simply by how I carry myself. I am polite and have a mask that shows humility but in reality I am nothing like I am portrayed .
