You get better at things you continually do. The more you have convos on the phone, the better you get at it... but honestly, you're coming in with the wrong mindset. You're trying to 'win her over' and hit her with that special blend of conversation that will make her 'act right'... which is essentially trying to prove something to her by entertaining her. it's not really your job to keep things entertaining at all times and if there are awkward silences, sometimes it's best to say, "say baby, I'm going to get up out of here. I'll call you later." If she's not calling you, then she's not feeling your flavor and it's time to move on and talk to another woman. The last thing you want to do is sit around thinking about what you need to do to get this or that particular woman to spend more time with you. That puts her in the drivers seat. With conversations with women, I find that it's all about women that are of the same mind as me and just like my flavor. Certain women, I can have effortless conversations with for hours and never do I have to force the conversation. With other women, the conversation is dry as the Sahara. The former comes from women who are very interested in me and have mutual subjects of interest in me. The latter comes from women who I have little in common with or have little interest in me. If a woman isn't really interested in how you kick it, then don't waste time trying to find some perfect combination of scripted speech to give her. it's time to focus that energy elsewhere.
In order to 'find your lane', you have to accept who you are, but be the best version of you as possible and express that version of you at all times... then you have to accept that certain women will love your natural style and others won't... you then have to have the mental strength to not change up and step outside of who you are to get to those women who don't feel you for you. What makes that difficult is that some of them are fine, but when it's said and done, you'll be wasting your time because you can only keep up an act for so long, and really, who wants to be with a woman that doesn't like him for him, but for some fantasy he's putting up?

This. People don't take vacations from who they are-- you can only keep up the act for so long. And if you can't be yourself around this person, then what's the point? You won't be happy in the end. Going through life wearing a mask the entire time just for the sake of a woman's company isn't worth it-- this isn't Zelda.

This is one thing that I have had/been having trouble with. It's a bit difficult to find women that are into the same type of shyt I'm into. Then again, I haven't been to the MT gym in a while.....I also had a problematic habit of not being myself, I was too busy trying to "win them over"...

Im glad my girl isnt big into Vday, she was just telling me that she has so many gift options and doesnt know what she is going to get me yet. I got her gift which is the one thing she asked for. Set dinner reservations for this family owned business and then afterwards hitting up that new Kevin Hart movie that is dropping that day
