When you think she liked u but she's was using you the whole time
It's summertime and I need to get some women in my rotation. Been living in Austin for a few months and focusing on my job, catching up with some friends, and some random dates here and there but nothing popping.
Also been talking to my ex but BAD IDEA.
I get positive vibes from women. I've noticed that they are more pronounced when I don't wear glasses. I can get attention and cold approach but sometimes that shyt doesn't go anywhere.
It does take a hit to your ego. I think being an early 30s black man, tall, well built, and I'm typically "clean cut" I guess I give the appearance of being put together so I dunno I guess women assume I should approach them, talk more, and lead conversations more. Other times I don't know WTF the opposite sex expects out of a man like me.
I don't always get the looks and signals like some of you do I legit have to hunt.
Also I have a tough time discerning between topical flirtation and genuine interest from a girl. I was out with a buddy this weekend and talked to three girls. Got all their numbers but my boy was interested in one of them and I decided to go after the one I was talking to most the night. That shyt fizzled but he may get something with the girl he was talking to.
This was more of a bunch of random thoughts than quick gems but I'm open for ideas

I'm not out there dating like that however I have things I notice about women. When I was approached or approached (which is rare) I notice in conversations on of the first things I am asked is what do you do for a living?Granted this is important in this day and age I realize this question is asked earlier.Yourboccupation or status can almost shape how far you go with a woman.Another thing I notice is cold approaches is best way to keep a woman honest.I know Instagram and all them other dating sites are the thing.However if small talk makes you nervous,you won't get far in the dating game.

Got to be honest, I've been searching for the same "girlfriend experience" for the past half a year. I've been on countless dates, fukked some of them. I've never truly liked any of them. Every month I deleted 3-5 numbers and started all over again with a new batch.
This advice of fukking women to get over your ex isn't working for me. I am far from simp, but I need that "connection".
I've chilled on dating in the last month. That led to feeling loneliness and misstep I took today.

I flirt and stuff and like different women, but I NEED a genuine connection with a woman honestly and put my heart into it. I fall hard.
Give it time though. You can't force organic authentic connections. Being vulnerable and putting yourself out there helps but we all get scarred in the game.
Understand the work conflicts but you did a little too much texting to not get the first date out of the way. Don't let these women get you into a textual relationship. Get with her asap and determine if you want to continue this or not.
