So talking to some of the single coworkers who date and do apps it seems like there’s the new version of “it’s not you it’s me”. Which is “I have so much going on in my life right now and don’t think I’m ready to put myself out there”.

Lol at thinking this is new. Various iterations of "I'm interested but my work/personal life,family/etc. is keeping me busy" have been around since we communicated by grunting and making sounds.
The bottomline is that in the dating game, if someone can't see you or speak to you for whatever reason, 99% of the time it is because they don't want to.
