It's funny how much more discerning you are when you date as an older man. There was this gorgeous girl I met this year. 5'10, natural hair, supermodel kinda slender body with abs and all that. Nice smile. Very active/in the gym. 27 years old. Intelligent. Mix of African, Carribean and European - rather light skinned and very pretty. She's a solid 8/10. We would get along. She would show interest and initiate conversations. She was down to link whenever I wanted to for the most part. However...

- Gen-Z (not inherently bad, but still a barrier)
- Would always mention how she was an overthinker / anxious kinda person
- Mentioned "fumbling the bag" because an athlete wanted to hit and she wouldnt let him
(she's only had sex with one dude before and is celibate outside of relationships)
- Divorced parents
- Cheated on her ex before
- Septum piercing in one of her IG pics
- Criticized my furnishings when she visited
- Asked me how many fights i've been in as an adult (0)

Just too many red flags lol; the underlined is a strict non-starter for me. A 24 year old me mightve seen where it could go, or at least wouldve tried to smash but she's a nice girl. A 34 year old me knows not to waste my or her time. She's better as a friend, perhaps even an adoptive little sister :laugh:

A great, underrated aspect about talking to multiple women or having a roster is being able to compare the women in real time to see who’s worth commitment, who’s delusional and who is tweaking and letting the women weed themselves out as my friend says

You also become immune to their manipulation tactics. One girl was confused my lack of overt affection despite all the efforts i put in. Things were going really well and even though we all already smashed (I’m talking crazy sessions) she tried to take p*ssy / home visits off the table so we could build a better foundation as friends. I said alright cool and just focused on another chick i was talking to and friend zoned chick number one. Her and i would still link but i wasn’t showing as much interest. Before two weeks she was panicking and put p*ssy back on the table lol, damn near begging to come over.

Often times we as men give in to the tests of women to maintain the peace/avoid conflict/keep getting p*ssy. Other times we drive ourselves crazy trying to understand what we did wrong to cause women to tweak out. More often than not we ain’t did shyt and talking to multiple women keeps you grounded/rational enough to realize such until you find somebody you actually want
