The difference between now and then is back then that women were at least reared to be home-makers and to learn to defer to men. They actually had a role in the relationship. Society also looked down on sex out of wed-lock and especially having children out of wedlock. You may have had cheating, but it wasn't as commonplace. Divorce wasn't something that was rushed towards either. Therefore there was real benefits towards being in a relationship. There were problems with relationships like always, but at least you had someone who would cook, clean and respect you as the 'head of the house.' Being respected by your woman as the 'man of the house' is a huge thing as is exclusivity.

nowadays women are shamed away from being a womanly figure, being submissive, etc. Sure, women did need more rights so they wouldn't be considered property and could get into the workplace, but the feminist movement went way beyond giving women more rights in society towards making them a privileged class.

Just look at the Neyo case where his ex said the baby was his and later it wasn't found out to be, but she stuck around long enough to get him on child support and get a settlement and then she got lost in the wind. instead of the legal system calling her out for fraud, which is what that is, she gets rewarded with millions of dollars.

This is why I've been ruminating that I may have to get out of this country to find a wifeable woman. The structure of this modern society is not conducive towards a successful long-term marriage, and I'm more than sure that was by design.

These American women would be in for a rude awakening(and be left largely single) if they looked at the online dating profiles(POF for example) for some of these women in Columbia, Brazil, Peru, etc.

These are women(most of them beautiful) who have been to college down in their countries, they have jobs down tehre....BUT if you read their profiles, they're looking for a MAN for the sake of having a man they can settle down with.

They don't have these long laundry lists of demands and over the top demands/requirements, nor do their profiles come off as mean-spirited or stuck up.

It's like a whole different mindset in some other parts of the world.

But here in North America, you got all these reality shows, Cribs, etc., that have ruined peoples mindsets about what life/love should be about.

Yeah man, what people don't realize is that television is called 'programming' for a reason. It is giving out instructions. Back to your regularly scheduled programming. Most of the shows out have women acting like they are 16 years old... bad girls club, sex in the city, real world, basketball housewives and a host of these other programs show women acting up, drinking, fighting, etc. People don't realize that subconsciously that this material begins to slip into your mind and affect your behavior.

On a serious tip, America is pretty much in its decline phases, so getting out while you can would be preferable. I would like to be out of here by at least may of 2013. Got a few loose ends to take care of. i feel sorry for a lot of these 90s and 2000s kids. They ever grew up really seeing a proper woman, but have been treated with these feminists who watch all of the aforementioned shows... They may live in a household where they never have a stable dad, and in fact, their brothers and sisters all have different dads. The Bible does indeed say you will reap what you sew, and we've sewed a lot of bad seeds in America, but people think it's sweet because we have not yet reaped the rotten fruit that comes from this.

We come to the point where we already have 30 something year old grandparents club hopping and still chasing for sex and still trying to outstunt one another in social settings. Big Mama is gone from the household, the club is the new church, and TV is the new version of school.

I plan to have a little 2 week vacation early next year and travel to 3 different countries. Way the structure is breaking down, it will gradually affect even the likes of me.

Only thing we can do from now till then is to pray.

Honestly women in other countries (specifically Latin America) are raised in a proper family structure where they see the importance of men to the family. They see what a working marriage looks like, they see their moms cater to their husbands, and take care of the children. They see their fathers not being emasculated left and right. Our culture is all fukked up to be honest, everything centers around greed and it trickles down into every facet of life. I mean even little shyt, like why do we have to get two rings if we want to marry a female?


I feel for the younger generation, dudes who are like 14-17 right now, they have almost no shot of finding quality women in the future. It seems every generation there's less and less of them to go around, and the dudes who end up with them lock them up early.

Man, you actually have women out here with 4 kids by all different dads. How does something like that work out? Imagine being raised in a house hold like that where you are always seeing a new guy as 'dad', and you don't have any full brothers, but all half brothers and sisters. You've guys already hit on a lot of the valid points.

We're still getting by here in America due to the massive amount of wealth accumulated by the previous generations due to there actually being a nuclear family structure and people making sound decisions. Women are now being trained that 'they don't need a man.' Financially speaking, they don't because they can get jobs now and also have big daddy government as a safety net to procure resources... but when it comes to rearing kids, the lack of having a father around is huge. There are several lessons that are missed by not having the male influence around of a father.

If you just want to have fun, America is the place to be. To build something long-term? I don't think so.

going out of the country for a wife is not a wise thing to do unless u plan on living in that country.

if u wife a hot broad overseas, and u bring her back to the states, YOU would be in for a rude awakening when she gets hip to the american culture.

there are many guys out there who thought like u. went abroad, married a broad, brought her back to the states. broad finds women who have her same ethnic background. starts to hang out with them a lot, go to parties. they fill her head up with the endless possibilities here in the states. girl realizes this, gets greedy. cheats on husband, husband kills her, husband goes to jail. or if he doesn't kill her, she gets a divorce, husband ends up being the lame who imported some overseas dime for some n1gga here to bang out.

instead of going out of country, find u a chick who is a first generation american. who'se parents weren't from here. she is less likely to misbehave, and more likely to carry out traditional roles of a woman.

What I noticed is that a lot of my boys, while in state, hardly had long-term women. They sort of did their thing with them and left them. All of a sudden, they leave the country and now they are with a woman for years. Obviously some highly westernized place is going to be similar to America, but from one of my boys who is over in Afghanistan right now, he tells me that the attitude from the Kenyan women he met on his job is completely different from what you get here.

Numbers do not lie- have a look at statistics across the country and you will see that overall, young men outnumber young women by somewhere around 11:10. In some places it is 12:10 or more. Add to this the fact that Hollywood brainwashes young women that they deserve rich and handsome young husbands with big cars and great careers and houses, and the fact that 20% of sexy hunks with money and good looks get 80% of the women, and you have a recipe for a disaster for a simple young man who just wants a date. He can't get one because numbers and statistics are not in his favor. Social and demographic trends are not in his favor. The Puritanical culture of not talking to strangers is not in his favor. In other words, he is behind the eight ball when it comes to dating.

However, the above cold facts are not even an issue in today's America and are not known to the average Joe. He is told that he lacks social skills to pick up women, that he needs to get a better job and improve his appearance, lose weight and develop confidence, pump some iron, take a karate class, all the while American women who dress like janitors and have bad manners apparently have very little problem dating handsome young men. That is the result of the imbalanced demographics in the USA.

The solution to the problem is simple- the surplus men, many of whom are not in the most desirable category from the American woman's point of view, should go to places on Earth where there is a shortage of men and a surplus of women and where young women outnumber young men.

Try it and you will see what I mean. Go to two cities- Moscow and Manila. You will see more young women on the streets than young men. Always. And guess what else you will see- women try to look better, they behave in a sweeter manner, they try and be nice to guys because if they are not nice, another woman will whisk the guy away from her- guys are in demand.

You will see than instead of steely, supercilious looks that you get from women in the US, or no looks at all, your appearance as a man on the streets of Moscow or Manila will attract curious, friendly and warm expression of interest from young ladies all over. They will be asking you questions, flirting with you, and saying yes to a dinner invitation.

So, why are they so nice? Because good men are hard to find there. The men can get a girlfriend any time they want, and at any age. They do not need to exercise, take classes in social skills, dress well or join clubs. And they are the ones who do the choosing.

In many countries where there is a shortage of men, women stay virginal before they get married because no decent guy would want to marry a "used" woman. Why get damaged goods if there is plenty of fresh, brand new stuff to go around? "You are not a virgin? Get away from me! I don't need you!" is the attitude of the men there.

Men walk proud and tall there, they do not sing whinie, sweet songs to women, women sing those to men and about men. It is a man's world out there and a man's market.

Do you want to be there? I bet you would.

Also, in their economies, women have small salaries and need men to help them survive and establish families. A guy with a good job or any guy who can afford a decent date is hard to find. In their country, there is an army of SEVERAL MILLION LONELY BACHELORETTES who cannot find a good boyfriend. Is that where YOU would like to be now?

So, the choice is yours: do you want to be a private soldier in the horny army of a million angry and frustrated bachelors in the USA who are fighting over a perennially small number of arrogant, capricious and self absorbed women and be chasing the will-o'the wisp that seems to always move away from you, or do you want to be surrounded by an army of a couple of million young bachelorettes? I bet that unless you are a glutton for punishment, you would choose the latter.

That is why you would be Happier Abroad.
