I think especially for brehs who grew up in the hip hop generation where "rebel without a cause" is baked into the very DNA, it can put them in a mental bind as they grow older. That whole keeping it real as you age and SHOULD be evolving and grow will have brehs stuck some type of peter pan failure to launch type mindset. I have had this convo over the years with many family members, and some have grown out of it to varying degrees. I atleast tell brehs have ATLEAST ONE good fitting suit to start in case something comes up. Im like breh you cant be in 30s goin to funerals in dikkie sets, we was doing that in our teens, its over, looooong time ago.

I think even just starting small and them seeing the response they get from EVERYBODY will atleast light that spark. It has worked for some but for others who perpetually stuck in 2nd childhood mindset, what can you do?

If she's in the prime bracket -18-25, she's getting smanged by the next dude that could crack the code, and will barely remember you. If she's in the B market, 26-32, it's a better. If she's subprime, why you sweating it?

Ive seen/known this chick in the gym for over 2+ years now. I had a lady so I wasnt interested like that or anything.

Ffwd to about 2 months ago, we started a dialogue because she was impressed by my deadlift. From there we exchanged names. From there, I saw tell-tale signs of her flirting so that put her on my radar (like it would any man). Eventually we started talking about topics outside the gym (hobbies, vacations, where we live, careers etc).

I got her ig because I had questions about her, and im not going to have a long ass convo in the gym while she trying to workout. She looked young as hell. At one point, i was telling my mans (gym partner) “yo she prolly like 19” so I was curious as hell to know her age and how she move. Me personally, ive never fukked w a chick more than 3 years younger than me so I didnt want to even bother trying to bag this chick if she was as young as I thought.

The DM i sent wasnt even no crazy shyt. I was lit in a club w the homies and I saw she viewed my story so i sent her a message from my story “hey wat you still doing up?” Corny, but this isnt a chick i havent had several conversations with already and i was “comfortable”.

She didnt “see” the message until the morning which I have my doubts because you can still see someone sent u a message on ig but if u dont click it the sender wont know u read it.

It is what it is at this point for me though. Im not gonna stress it. She still watched my stories all weekend and liked my pics and im most likely gna see her in the gym wen i get back in town tmrw. Ill chat w her and tell her my bad for the late text, i was wildin and keep it at that.
