I just started this show "Married with Children" and I'm now realizing, this will most likely be my life. I make a decent wage for a black man in NY. Courting and all that ritualistic shyt was when people had very very few options, both men and women. And women who weren't from wealthy families, or royalty, were essentially indigent.
