I had an ex from college (we're in our 30s now) tell me how she thought more men would have "instagram apartments" and she felt let down when a new dude she was dating didn't have that

The algo got these women in a chokehold.

EX

This reminds me of some of my faulty thinking years ago and how us as humans think one thing, when we get the results its actually not what we want.. Have had it happen with home, car and even thinking wanting a girl into sports.. :mjlol:

Had a girl I had past history with that we link back up after like 5 years, we talking on phone about to link up for first time and she mention she is really excited to see my place, Im like why? :jbhmm: Then start mentioning how they remember my previous spot (Kinda like this but not decked out with accessories, just kinda loft vibe in Wynwood part of town when it was coming up and popping, shyt is disneyland commercial now) and she never wanted to leave, she loved the vibe and she still looks at photos she took there, yada yada.

Always remember, its how they look to how of use you can be, what status can they get from you, what utility can you be to them. That IG link, it would allow them to showcase on their socials and create whatever fake content they can think of. With cars its even worse, I would imagine because thats with you more and majority of people dont see your house. I got more what are we questions when I upgraded, I remember when it first happened, I was not expecting that.. :heh:.. Like I had better experiences with my first wheels (Mitsubishi Galant!/Maxima/Acura/Infiniti) than when I started getting nicer stuff, you think you gonna get better results but it really just makes you a target and bring out the worst in people..

Being aware of this stuff now, I guess its easier to handle but back then it was complete mind fukk, like baby you never asked me these questions before, why the switch up?! :troll:

Oh and yes, Tiktok got these girls in such a chokehold and changing behavior that people have no idea how deep and fast things are changing.

:skip: you can't build real wealth in these apartments. If you dropping 4 bands a month to live in the poppin downtown area with a view you'd have to be pulling in like 200-250K+ for it to even begin to be remotely sensible financially. Now there's the opportunity cost. Spend all your disposable income on housing = you can't go out and do shyt.
Most men don't even ever hit 200k and most that do are in their 40s and 50s when most who gonna settle down have already settled down.
But when people dont pay attention to statistics their expectations become inflated.
Like I always tell folks If you are in shape, make enough money to provide for yourself, have no kids you are already in the upper portion of the bell curve regardless of age.

So I have two people who kind of have a situation like this. The first one is in the Midwest and he’s dropping about 9K a month , lives on the top floor , penthouse, always has ppl over, uses it for networking, still goes out.

Then another guy, my exe’s old boss, who I’m still cool with. Has a place in Tribeca, top floor, but they barely go out, they as well use their place for hosting dinner parties or have ppl over.

All depends on the person and their goals.

a photographer and content creator, also asks her matches big questions up front, like who they voted for in the last election and what their religious beliefs are. And if a potential date finds her vetting process invasive or arduous, so be it. When a conversation peters out, that tells her what she needs to know.

In recent months, the coffee date has emerged as a controversial topic on TikTok, where scores of videos feature people arguing that they are either the perfect low-lift screening option or a giant red flag signaling someone is cheap or unwilling to put effort into a “real” first date.

Could a Red State candidate run on a child support cap? (Average payment is $442 per Google).

:mjlol:

Coffee screens? Nah lol I need to see everything in person. I need to see how you move in public, how you dress, how you maintain yourself before I even consider investing.

With all these lighting tricks & now AI, real time interactions is where it’s at.

Yes, the candidate would just have to be careful with how they’re approaching the subject matter as a talking point.

If you combined it a new term like family law reform, Incorporated cost of living (because it is changing and increasing everywhere), income based escalations, and creating a debit card (I forgot the state that did this) to track expenses.

It could work here :

Texas (already has relatively low child-support ceilings)
Oklahoma
Missouri
Arkansas
Tennessee
Florida
(family law reform has been active)
Georgia
South Carolina

You think the game in the US is messed up, try China

And those women have been dissing 9-5 men, and downplaying them by calling them “salarymen”. See it all the time in C-dramas / J Dramas, K Dramas.

Nah the dating coach is wild tho

:laff:

So I finish watching and the conclusion is male figures are important and it seems like he didn’t have any growing up. He needs to get in the gym, change up his style (the dating coach got him looking like a teenager with them red pants on), and some type of man school, which I think needs to be brought back everywhere.

But you also see what happens when you see these boys/men who are lonely because then they start to gravitate towards a certain communities.

Imagine the one-child policy was in effect here?

And the thing is speaking socially is a muscle so especially with speaking of women. I remember you know being in the mall as a teenager with my guys and we would all just take turns you know talking to women and it wasn’t so much what would happen after it was just let’s see if you can get the number, just enjoying the moment with an attractive woman, etc.

And so the fact that they didn’t do that when they were younger and now you can see it in the video that they’re struggling because it’s just “hello, can I add you on WeChat?” no type of banter, not creating any level of comfortability.

I remember going down just a YouTube rap hole of these pick up artist and watching them was probably my first realization and understanding that there’s “white game/ mouthpiece ” vs “black game / mouthpiece ”.
