Went hard on the weights and cardio for six days straight and my weight barely budged even though my diet was in check. Yesterday I take the day off, dig into some unhealthy but delicious foods and this morning I wake up 2.4 pounds lighter:why:
Rest.......critical during a fat loss period

Same thing happened to me this week except the food

Am I good with one day off a week? Or should I be resting more if I want to optimize fat loss.
Depends on what you are doing overall.

Generally speaking it's fine. Gotta get that quality sleep as well.

Yea it really depends on what you're doing and how you're feeling. For me personally it's really a balance... if I do too much cardio my metabolism shuts down and weight loss stops. But if I cut food too much I feel like shyt. So there's a sweet spot for me where I feel great and lose the most weight. It takes some experimentation to find that

Tight lats + retracted scapula + pulling down on the bar is key when doing anything ab intensive on a pull-up bar

Ended up doing cardio because too many motherfukkers were on the weights :aicmon: I'm probably gonna have to start going late at night because too many mfs are getting hip to going early mornings :francis:

Ate kinda shytty today (like most days) but thought it was cool cause I was just gonna burn it off in the gym:manny:




Missed the gym though. Now I've gone two days without cardio (did legs yesterday) and I feel like a slob:mjcry::flabbynsick:

did the stairmaster (mill) and then the arc trainer for cardio today. I'm starting to think the cardio high > pump :patrice:



arc trainer was weird. Felt like i was doing nothing but was still tiring. Felt it more in my arms though :patrice:


guess it's good for low impact, but idk. we'll see:patrice:
